Name & Logo unveiled...

A name & logo with a tagline has been unveiled for the event.



The name suggests medium (Maadhyam). The tagline is self explainatory "by & for the human within".
The logo symbolises a lot to us... Dawn suggests a new rise with a white pigeon spreading the message of peace along with.
Blue colour significes - responsibility for others & enjoying decision-making. The tranquility all around and must be surrounded by tenderness, love and affection.
The Red colour (line beneath) suggests - ambition (supporting the responsibilty).

The logo significes responsibilty with a ambition towards new dawn to help the human by the human.

The Musical Charity Concert is being organised on 05 th of January, 2008 at Palace Grounds from 7 pm onwards. The ticket denominations avialable are as follows-

• Rs 700 (General)
• Rs 300 (General with no seats)

Objective of the Concert

The objectives of organizing the concert are:

1. Charity: To reach the needy and help them through the NGOs.
2. Involvement: An exercise to involve the general public for the cause and also involve the students of IBSB to inculcate the habit of sharing.
3. Opportunity: An opportunity for those who want to serve but have not found any.
4. Corporate Social Responsibility: An exercise that any institution like IBSB would gain in terms of visibility and the activities it is involved in.
5. Learning: An excellent opportunity for the IBSB students to get involved and develop a taste towards helping the society as a part of their social responsibility.
   

Destination of funds:

The event is organized solely for charity and to reach the needy through the NGOs. The following are the NGOs to whom the proceeds will be donated:

• New Hope Children’s Home
• Shraddha Krupa
• Anganwadi and
• Alpha Foundation

Synopsis of the event

The Students of IBS Bangalore (IBSB) are planning to organize a charity concert by Mr. Sivamani, a famous percussionist in India and also a member of the famous music director A.R Rehman’s group of musicians. The proceeds of which would be donated to NGOs like New Hope Children’s Home, Shraddha Krupa, Anganwadi and Alpha Foundation equally or according to the requirement/ recommendations of the NGOs. This is an opportunity for all the students of IBSB to showcase their skills and teams up to organize such a big event and thus help the needy directly or indirectly.
Besides the contribution from the college, the students are approaching many established companies to get involved in this noble cause and give them a platform to fulfill their “Corporate Social Responsibilities” by way of sponsorships in this concert.
The students of IBSB would volunteer for the concert and organize in a way that they would surely leave a positive impression in terms of organizing the event and associated discipline building.

Sivamani Concert

IBS-B is organising a musical show, the sole purpose of the whole event is Charity. The performance will be from the well-known precussionist Sivamani. The event will be held on 29th of December 2007 (changed to 05th January 2008) at Palace Grounds (confirmation awaited).
